In a three-part virtual workshop series, water leaders, practitioners, and community champions will build and strengthen core competencies needed to advance One Water solutions. Drawing one the One Water Leadership Guides and rooted in the real-world experience of successful One Water practitioners, this series will equip participants with practical skills to effectively communicate about One Water, forge cross-sector partnerships, and navigate regulatory challenges.
Session 1: Being an Effective One Water Communicator
In this session, participants will deepen their ability to craft, frame, and deliver compelling One Water messages tailored to their audience – whether it consists of policymakers, community members, or other potential partners. Through real-world storytelling and applied exercises, attendees will learn how to build shared understanding and support for One Water in their community.
