As 2025 comes to a close, The US Water Alliance has released its 2025 Year in Review, reflecting on this year’s successes and looking ahead to future opportunities to support Alliance member utilities and community organizations with their diverse water challenges.
A few key accomplishments by numbers from the 2025 review include:
- $1.8 trillion is needed by 2044 to close the water infrastructure gap, which would generate $4.6 trillion in economic output, according to a landmark analysis through the Value of Water Campaign.
- 38 communities supported with technical assistance through the Environmental Finance Center.
- 92% of American voters support prioritizing reliable water access, according to the Value of Water Index.
- 11 years of “Imagine a Day Without Water,” including 10 million web impressions in 2025 alone.
- 3 Multi-city Water Equity Network Action Taskforces continued a peer-learning and knowledge-sharing journey.
- 726 registrants and 100 speakers gathered in Pittsburgh, PA, for the One Water Summit.
- 3 One Water webinars hosted by the Alliance to expand the conversation around One Water and water equity.
- 10 new members joined the Alliance, expanding the critical network of like-minded water experts across the country.
