Cynthia Flowers

Cynthia Flowers is the Senior Leadership and Organizational Development Manager at the US Water Alliance, a national nonprofit organization advancing policies and programs that build a sustainable water future for all. Cynthia leads initiatives in leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational design that enhance results, drive innovation, and enrich the employee experience. Prior to joining the Alliance, Cynthia worked for the City of Seattle at Seattle Public Utilities and the Human Services Department. As Human Resources Director, she provided strategic leadership and operational oversight of all human resources functions. In her role as Strategic Advisor, she collaborated with executive leadership to develop and execute agile workforce strategies. Before working with the City of Seattle, Cynthia worked in the financial services industry as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Safeco Corporation and Assistant Director at Symetra. Cynthia is a proud graduate of Oregon State University where she earned both a bachelor of science in management and a Master of Business Administration. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks, spending time with family and friends, and exploring a broad range of interests.
