ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Center for Community Investment (CCI) is an organization that strives to guide disadvantaged communities to achieve economic, social, and environmental equity. Through technical assistance, leadership development, dissemination of research and resources, and the creation of robust networks that engage in learning exchanges, the Center helps communities attain investment capital that is put towards a number of priorities including affordable housing, jobs, fresh foods, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.

At the heart of the Center’s approach is a framework that calls on communities to work across transportation, water, housing, and energy sectors to create opportunities for investment. By prioritizing these opportunities, scarce public and philanthropic resources can align to bring about the realization of the community’s goals.
