The fourth annual Imagine a Day Without Water was covered extensively in print and broadcast outlets across the country, helping us elevate the importance of water and wastewater infrastructure in America. The Value of Water Campaign secured earned radio placements to share our message and spotlight efforts taking place in local communities. Kip Peterson, Vice President for Engagement with the US Water Alliance, represented the Value of Water Campaign and participated in interviews with 16 local radio programs to discuss the condition and importance of water and wastewater infrastructure and highlight the challenges faced by communities. Collectively, these placements reached more than 1.6 million listeners across the country.
